11 people so far have voted yes, and as far as I can tell, that's several times the number of people from these forums that have gone to any event so far. That's the other thing with the California events, it's a car centric state, nearly everyone will have to drive there, and they mostly seem to be at really small locations with little on site parking, only street parking, often metered, and quite full in street view.
