All unibody “trucks” are cars with beds. Ridgeline, Maverick, Santa Cruz. Even the R1T. I had a buddy in high school with an El Camino…man, that thing was fun. And not unibody.

We actually buy fancy dual power fridges that can run off a power station or vehicle 12v power. In the winter, the frunk makes an excellent fridge. No ice or power required.
Interesting. That’s a fully vertical solution which is unlike what a few on this thread have been arguing for. Like you, I doubt anyone will be taking the Slate on highway trips long enough for something like BlueCruise to make sense.

I don't believe there is a single component in any ICE vehicle that is 37% of the price of the vehicle. Which kind of makes me wonder, what is driving the pricing for ICE vehicles? Labor? Paint? Drivetrain? Metal stamping? Marketing/overhead? Greed?
Or is it all of the above.
