Hmmm…doubtful. I think they would rather have people order their meal a la carte: order accessories upfront and add all the accessories into the final price, then finance the total. Their banking partner will tell them to do it this way.
The Scout Terra is body on frame with the bed integrated into the cab (I think). There is a vertical reveal in the bodywork that makes the bed look like it is separate.
This definition of what a truck is is interesting. Does it have to be body on frame to be a truck? Does it need to have a solid rear axle to be a truck? Does it need a pickup bed to be a truck? My FJ has two of the three and I still don't call it a truck. Its a SUV...and definitely not a "car"...
I can definitely see the Telo target skewing younger (regardless of price). I also don't see the Telo as a second car, fleet machine, or small business vehicle. Unless the business is making balloon animals at the county fair.
You are making a lot of assumptions. Also, sucking at driving includes allowing distractions to bother you, not driving at the speed limit, driving recklessly, not checking mirrors and blind spots, and not using turn signals amongst other things. I'm a cyclist and I can't tell you how many times...
