This is kinda what I’m thinking, but with a flat, longer bed. Meet the Subaru Sambar. If you need it to be a pickup, add that kit. If you want a mini van, add that kit.I too think that Slate should focus on the task at hand. But like any product company, thinking about the next product is always part of the DNA. I hope it’s a cab forward mini-van/truck like the VW T4. Keep the kit of parts approach and make the base version an electric Doka…basically a longer bed (flatbed skateboard) version of model 1. Two-motor AWD option (Syncro). No infotainment, low-tech. I would turn it into a killer camper van.
I could see something like this, but current front look, being Blank Slate 2.0This is kinda what I’m thinking, but with a flat, longer bed. Meet the Subaru Sambar. If you need it to be a pickup, add that kit. If you want a mini van, add that kit.

As a current owner of a sweet Scion xB (first generation), I'm keeping my eye on the Slate (cargo or SUV) as its eventual replacement.Something similar to the 2004-2006 (first generation) Scion xB.

Four doors. Roomy inside (really!). Loved by owners.
