Publicly they claim to be committed to 100% renewable energy, but then 7/1 was start date of new EV roaduse tax. As for me, I live off grid, solar electric generation and my intent is never to have to buy charging.

So the choice is to pay $xxx for a Slate installed system you may or may not like or use vs $0 to Slate and you pay for system of choice. Prefer making own choice.
