I'm almost sorry they aren't building an entire new factory. I really enjoyed the youtube drone videos when giga texas was being built. I'm retired from the commercial construction industry.
Looks like there is a ceremony at the plant today. Chris is interviewed by some dipstick with the usual negative questions on squawk box cnbc this morning.
I wonder how much it would cost to completely cover a real slate with Legos. Slate should talk with Lego and do a team-up on a show car. Or maybe a wrap that make it look like its made out of legos?
I have just found out if you go into "Color (wrap)" and click on the custom color wheel
it will trigger 3d mode after a few seconds. Took me FOREVER to figure it out.
My dad and his crewmates in a B-26 got shot down by flak over Toulon France. The pilot was the only one who didn't get out in time. They all evaded capture, my dad and one other got picked up by the French underground. Another was injured and captured and put in a hospital that was taken over...
Yeah for sure, Toyota has been "a year away" from solid state since 2012. As far as my posts in this thread, I'm trying to weed out the click bait and low grade tech sites and keep it more reality based, or at least interesting to me.
the Ford is just my backup in case the Slate doesn't materialize. And just like the Mav, all you'll be able to find the first year is the Lariat trim at 40K, or an XLT at 36. Even if the slate is 30K I'll still buy it.
China has program pushing for 400 Watt hours/kilogram in 2025. Now there's a breakthrough in electrolyte that is hitting 600.

I have a Maverick Hybrid. I don't consider the Mav or any other cars under 30K to be competing with the Slate on the things that matter to me. #1: No F'ing Dealers with their gouging and tricks. #2 No Gasoline. #3 No oil changes. #4 Double or triple the life on brake pads. #5: A drivetrain...
Here's how mine came out. I love it. The print lines look bad in closeup pictures but the model looks fine to the naked eye. 7-1/2" in length. Friend said this larger size worked out better for the multi-color.
Thank you for your work on adding all the detail to the stl. I printed out the first one on thingiverse and was trying to hand paint it, but it was coming out like those plastic airplane models I made 60 years ago, messy. So I've got my buddy with a brand new big bambu 4-color working on your...
