    Electric Power Mirrors Add-on PLEASE

Some Fords (and I'm sure others) in the 80s and older had manual passenger mirrors with a long cable adjuster that was mounted somewhere on the dashboard. Would be a good idea if they did stick to full manual mirrors. My truck's pretty narrow and I am able to lean over and adjust the passenger...

Slate Tour Events - Locations / Dates

I'll jump on going to one if they ever bring it to the OK, TX, LA area. A lot of the people I talk to in person about it who are interested all have the same question... how hard are the seats? I have a feeling if they do bring it to TX it'll be in Austin, but I will do the drive to see it. Let...

Interview: Sandy Munro calls Slate genius and a disruptor

Agreed, if you're the sole driver of the car it's usually a 'one and done' affair. I've had a few cars with manual mirrors, usually I just have a passenger help me set it and that's the end of it. A few years ago I was daily driving a car that didn't come with a right-side mirror and didn't...

What are your personal MUST HAVE Add-Ons/Accessories for your Slate?

I just need the stereo speakers, regardless of quality. Steering wheel buttons for next and previous track would be nice but I can survive without they. The rest I'm more than happy without. Ditto the fastback cap without the seats though. Or a tonneau cover.

PLEASE! I want a panel wagon kit.

I've seen some aftermarket top makers make windowless hard tops for their vehicles. Even with the rear window being used for the hard top of the SUV version it would be nice to have a solid panel version.

Fastback / SUV Top - Priced How Much?

I'm not sure but I'd be curious to see if they option it with / without the seats. I'd just like a bed topper that turns it into a two seater SUV.

Slate production factory is former printing plant in Warsaw, Indiana

Our town had a former automotive glass / insulation manufacturer close, and after a few years of sitting unsold, the town's "Economic Development Group" bought it. They paid for the cleaning themselves and then put it back on the market as a "move-in ready" facility in order to hopefully get...

Share your Slate build configuration images!

I've optioned nothing on the inside other than the stereo speakers. I'd probably get the brown accent panels all over if they're cheap enough. I am not sure if I'll do the white bottom portion but I am going to try to get as close to a deep emerald green as I can get. That was the color of my...

    Question about the body panels.

I've got a friend that runs a paint shop and I'm curious about the process of just having the panels sanded and painted. I know plastic tech has come a long way in the last 20 years but I wouldn't be surprised to see some stripey panels in the future. If the whole plastic outer shell comes apart...

5 Star Crash Safety Rating goals being met by Slate truck in early crash tests ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'll be very interested in seeing the results of the crash tests. I'm looking forward to the Slate as it's only 30'' longer than my 90s compact truck WITHOUT the downside of it being built like a rolling kleenex box!

    Topper version

I was considering the option, if I order one of the rear tops, to keep the seats out. That would still make it more like a little van instead of an isolated pickup bed, though, without some sort of divider.
