There are some terrific power station home backup systems on the market that would be a lot easier, and better, to use than the Slate. Draining the Slate battery so that the vehicle can't be used for its intended purpose leaves me scratching my head. That said, having some ability to use the...
Definitely apples to oranges. If evaluating purely on cost of ownership (not acquisition cost), the EV is going to be cheaper...perhaps much cheaper (fuel and maintenance). Acquisition cost between a new Maverick and the Slate are very close. Comparing on utility is more difficult. If you need a...
I have to believe Slate did their research on this and found that the majority of their target market use their phone to stream music or listen from their phone's music library...and that the majority of their target market don't listen to radio and if they do, they stream radio using an app on...

Porsche is for price insensitive buyers who appreciate the quality of engineering, driving dynamics, and features that goes into the Porsche product. My point is that you donāt have to be low income to be price sensitive.
Any number of things can be done given an accessible power source (or fuse block). The question is: will it be an easy DIY project? After hearing everything Slate has said so far, it has to be more than just DIY, it has to be easyā¦and teachable in their University. Oh yeah, it canāt void the...
