One of the things I think would greatly benefit the Slate is a hot 12V bus bar line where owners can wire up their own accessories. If these are going to be fleet vehicles it would benefit them to let operators easily install dashcams, CB radios, etc. The Broncos have a set of AUX switches on the roof for such addons, and even my old '89 LTD has a ground BUS bar for adding accessories as it shares the wiring harness with the Police / Taxi package.

Either that or some extra unused 15A interior circuits available on the fuse panel. I know I could use at least two of them if I were to standardize the Slate with the rest of my fleet. I'd hate to use fuse taps on a brand new car!

Edit: Here's what the ground bus in my LTD looks like:

The maverick too
I’m thinking about that for my Maverick. I add a Fuzeblock to my motorcycles. Don’t see a reason you couldn’t do that in the Maverick. Plenty of room under the hood.

We know the Slate will have step-down voltage power for at least one device and based on what the CEO said in her recent interview, for a double din head unit as well. It makes sense that having a 12V fuse block and negative ground bus bar would be included...most likely located behind the dash panels. Those fuse block circuits better be at least 15A. The first thing I would do is install a 12V cigarette plug outlet for a USB combo (A/C) charge plug so other devices can be charged up front.
