I have always needed a balace control in a car stereo. I wonder about that here.

when I pair my phone to the center spreaker will there be an app to enhance audio . ballance equilizor.....

my cheep ear buds have some of this functionalaity, for a car sterio would like more conttrol

No, there isn’t. The switches and wiring harnesses come with the accessories, I.e lights. That 5-switch unit is just a switch plate with covers for unused holes.

My mistake thought that it made sence to to have a univeral harnes - so if you add lights later on will have to snake wires under trim.

There is a reason all the light installations are rated “Advanced.” That especially includes the Animated DRLs and taillights.

Slate shows exactly five accessories that will use the switch panel:
light pods, rooftop light bar, fog lights, rock light kit, bed light kit

What will be interesting to see is how these accessories will connect to the power system. Is there a power hub that Slate's devices will plug into?

There are a lot of options for off-road vehicles, from the basic DYI fuse box using rocker switches, up to the fancy systems like this one: https://store.switchpros.com/sp9100-switch-panel-power-system/

I do wonder if the third party switching hubs could be used with the Slate, but until we see install videos for the lighting accessories it's just a guessing game.
