Could always wait for aftermarket. I would be surprised if someone doesn't make a kit for the doors.
That's actually the plan. That or I'll make something work.

Yeah, when I saw that the center is required before you get the two on the side, I'm going to take a pass. I can use my JBL knock off for now. Sounds good, and supposedly will hang on the bracket you can get (universal speaker mount). That storage area looks nice and I'd like to have access to the power.

I agree.. that storage looks like a great thing to keep. For giggles I put my JBL Charge 5 on my dash a month or two ago when I ran to the store... it's really not a bad option.

I keep going back and forth on it but I've got plenty of time to decide. Ideally I'll get a chance to look at one in person sometime to decide. Otherwise I'll be asking a few friends about their favorite BT speaker.

I'd still like a cig lighter style outlet. Although it all comes down to what Slate offers for those 12V accessory circuits. I find the car's built-in USB ports always give abysmal charging wattages and definitely want a standalone charger and cable.

I'm likely going to need the interior 12v for an inverter (need a laptop for work and I work out of my vehicle).

I wonder how we could mount a double din head unit in the center storage bin? It bugs me that the center bin is offset from AC control cluster. towards the passenger side, to make space for the mobile phone mount.

Was mildly hoping for an option to install a din or double-din radio. I suppose the powered USB port would have enough juice to run a tuner, amp, and speakers, so maybe some sort of hack job to make it work. Not a biggie. I'm buying a truck, not a radio on wheels.

I hope to see a wattage spec for the power ports soon. Using the truck's battery to power an inverter is a huge plus for me. The more, the better!

Slate is slow on the details. One of my "mild disappointments."

I'm planning on finding out as soon as I get mine. I got a slew of double-dins I wanna try to get in there.
