For those who care, the R2 is only currently available in SUV form, $45K and up. The R2S is 15 inches shorter than the R1S at 185" length. That's about 15 inches shorter than the Maverick, 10 inches longer than the Slate.

An R2T has been deniably hinted at, but not "anytime soon". Rivian trucks are typically longer than their SUVs, so you could probably assume an R2T would be Maverick size when released - but aimed at a more affluent buyer.

Just watched Doug Demuro's review. From what I saw and he saw - the R2S is gonna be a runaway hit, even in an EV hostile USA. This thing will be sold out for two years.

This thing is going to be a hit, from everything I can see.

The venn diagram of Slate and R2 buyers does not overlap completely by any means, but I can see them getting cross shopped for some buyers.

Super cool to see. I've been following the Rivian and Scout launches as well, albeit not as close.
@ScooterAsheville FYI I think I remember seeing that Rivian did not renew the R2T trademark (or similar), which hints at the idea that it may not release as a truck. Time will tell!
