Seems to fit the Slate really well since it's only ~350lbs, and they're one of the few pop-up camper vendors that already has mounting solutions compatible with 5-foot and composite beds and a track record of customizing to fit slightly niche vehicles like the Jeep Gladiator getting a custom mounting solution.
And I'm feeling like with the 'cab rack' option with the deflector on the front or something more custom it wouldn't impact aero to speak of when collapsed, so far less range impact than towing a travel trailer. Also seems like the Slate would be uniquely well suited if you can route the 'rear HVAC' ports the center console taps into the bed area in some way as well. Most of the upgrades for Project M builds is power/solar/heating/cooling and this would skip most of that.
The only real downside is even a totally blank Project M is half the price of a Blank Slate. All of that company's pop-up campers are on the more expensive side.
