I have never been one to compare Trucks versus Cars ! To me they are different in what I want.

I get that. But the EV truck to ICE truck comparisons, of which there have been many, are equally skewed. I thought this provided a different way of looking at the EV truck value from a different angle.

I wouldn't choose a Chevy Bolt over the Slate FN if it cost less, even thousands less, because I don't want to own a Transportation Appliance.

The Leaf and Hyundais are interesting, but little under $38k on the list makes a compelling EV.

Let's see how the Ford-thom shares. I'm guessing they'll hold back on details while Slate continues to keep pre-orders open. Let people fill gaps in on their own.

Maybe Kia and Hyundai will find buyers for even smaller EVs, I think the tariffs will keep most out.

However, the Bolt still has a dealer network standing behind it. Parts and repairs will be available for years. I'm hoping that is true of the Slate but we all may find ourselves owning real automotive orphans in a few years. I hope not -- I really want to see a company aiming to make affordable American EVs survive.

I did and got the board, because the tractor was too hard to push forward with one foot, despite its inability to tow a large trailer thru the fields. But I gave the tractor a shot. ;-)
