It WAS a huge part of Tesla's profit - but the current administration either killed the need for those credits completely or is no longer enforcing the need for them (I forget the exact details) - but basically Tesla is barely selling any anymore from what I can recall.I was wondering if Slate will be (hopefully) making money, in part, buy selling efficiency credits for exceeding the CAFE standards by being an EV company. I suspect this is the largest part of Tesla's profits in the US market.
