Fun article about some potential mods. The author doesn't seem to know there's a frunk for extra storage, but even so, I do kind of dig the "caboom" add on concept. And they pull together a nice collection of vintage truck ads form the 70s and 80s.

Those ads were fun! I liked how they put some context on Slate:

Slate weighs about the same and has almost double the horsepower of that Toyota Hilux - which itself claims 38% more power than other trucks in that list!

I am a little jealous of the Toyota's 72x56" bed, but Slate's still better than Maverick in this regard (and I expect it will be much better than the Ranchero).
