Nissan (and Slate) have signed agreements to buy Batteries from SK On.
Nissan’s batteries will actually come from a BlueOval SK plant. Kentucky #1 will start this year, and they have KY #2 and a Tennessee plant under construction.
SK On has two plants in Georgia and a JV plant with Hyundai Group under construction. So they could make cells for Slate elsewhere in the U.S.
