The $4,000 is a speculative estimate for the upgrade price. The base model price is currently at $27,500. The extended battery is $4,000 giving $31,500.

And once again someone demonstrating that they can add. It is based on out of date info though.$27,500 is the current best price. That is $20,000 the original quote from Slate given the federal discount of $7,500 and without the federal discount gives $27,500.
Why is it out of date? And once again someone demonstrating that they can add. It is based on out of date info though.
Guessing any statement prior to tax incentive going away before the new legislation became law or referencing the incentive is likely out of date. Why is it out of date?
It is out of date for the tax incentive since there is no more tax incentive. Except Slate got their $20K price from subtracting $7.5K from their current price. How does the current price become out of date?Guessing any statement prior to tax incentive going away before the new legislation became law is likely out of date.
Cost doesn't determine price, what people are willing to pay does.I would not say it is that speculative. That is Google's AI price for the extra cost of the long range battery on the Slate.
Hey everyone, we don't know the price because Slate hasn't told us.
Doesn’t prevent some folks from rationalizing their own thinking.
