It's not actually "just a USB to Bluetooth dongle" what it is is a mini cell phone that emulates the behavior of a wireless head unit to the phone and a USB connected phone to the head unit.Maybe so. I was just thinking of the plug in adapter my daughter got to change the wired carplay function in her Chevy bolt to wireless. It's just a USB to BT dongle. No idea what software is going on to make that work but I was sort of wondering out loud if the same or similar dongle might be able to turn the Slate wired connection to wireless.
It wouldn't work for connecting the Slate app to the truck.
