Just asking, but if you could ask a Slate Rep about how the rear bulkhead is sealed against water intrusion from the pickup bed, I've been dying to know since last year the engineering behind it. I've seen the video where 10 gallons of water are poured into the front of the bed and it drains out, but all pickup bed drains usually get clogged up after a few years, so I'm more interested in long-term use than how a fresh from the factory truck bed drains.

Will do my best. Not an engineer, nor do I play one on TV. You will get my best attempt as a plebeian car person in relaying the response after the event. Have experienced this in the past so can relate.

I know someone will ask about the Cargo Kit (thanks) could someone ask about using the SUV kit minus seat and rollbar ? Thinking, someone buys the factory SuV but only wants the Open air config. Can just the top be placed on a Blank Slate ? Maybe purchaser bought SUV and a Blank Slate.

Can someone please tell me if the dome light comes on without the key in the ignition? Are there switches in the doors so it comes on when doors are opened? This is pretty much standard on any car. (Just looking for potential unswitched power sources)
