Slate truck reviewed by UK outlet (Electrifying.com) - Updated with video review

While I appreciate the author shows interest in Slate, he’s completely aware that both the Cybertuck and Slate are not coming to the UK anytime soon.

Kind of similar to mining a new rare element on the periodic table; “Unobtainium.” 🙂

Slate could theoretically either be imported individually, or if successful could later be made there or imported in mass. Cybertruck is so far off of EU and UK crash standards and driveability on their roads that it's never going to happen.

I contacted Slate last weekend, had a very friendly prompt reply, they said they have had a huge “incredible” interest from Europe (including UK) and currently concentrating on opening the factory in the US first and deliver to the US for late 2026.

As they have had “incredible” interest they will not want to miss out on that and I’m sure they will be here as soon as they can.

Cannot wait, enjoyed seeing them on Jay Leno the other week and the test drive, and also thought that Electrifiying review was great too.

I will definitely be buying one.
