With the swappable body panels and the nifty tool -
I want to see the Truck with all the swappable panels
off the Truck. In the spirit of Halloween. I already think
the Truck has a classy chassis - want to see more of it.

And BTW -- worrying about hoodlums stealing your
body panels in senseless. Many Security fasteners and
Fancy bits - tool bits. But what would it look like if they
did?

If such images are out there I kindly request a redirect!

This was one of the first videos of the Slate being assembled. There are several shown without body panels.

I guess what I really want to see is a full body panel-
clad Truck -- with just a door panel missing. Or just
any other of the other swapable panels missing.

Or removed by the owner --
Say Halloween 2027

And a notion of exactly which panels come on and
off in the particular way w/ (keychain) tool.

Can I take a panel off and drive it away? If a hoodlum
steals my door/other panel can I still drive it away?

Probably should try to matriculate to Slate School
next semester . . .

They haven't given the exact details, but you aren't supposed to be able to walk up to a locked slate and just remove panels. My guess is part of the fasteners are hidden by the door, the tailgate, the hood, etc. The panels also could wrap around into those areas, so they are impossible to remove without those being open first.

The panels will have a "Dual-Layer Fastening System".

From this article:

As for those removable body panels and the potential risk of them getting stolen off the Truck, Slate has developed a dual-layer fastening system that’s designed to ensure the panels can’t be easily removed without the proper access.
