What do you think the base (52.7kWh) Slate's MSRP will be?

I've refined the answers based on feedback from last month's poll...

If something happened in April that has caused you to change your mind compared to last month's poll, let us all know about it!

The price has never been "around" $27,500. Because there has never been a price. There has been vague price "guidance".

I'm less fascinated by the actual Slate MSRP than I am by the financial internals we'll never see (because Slate is privately held). Will Slate be making a profit at the initial price?

Hmm. Now that I think about it, MSRP seems meaningless with Teslas and Rivians and Lucids and Slates. The "Suggested" makes no sense, as there is no dealer in a direct sale. We should refer to "MRP".

Guys, the price has always been "around" 27500.
Slate has said "mid-20s" from the beginning. Many people assumed[\I] that meant $27,500 because (a) that's the highest it could be and still be reasonably called "mid-20s" and (b) it's the highest it could be and still be "under $20k" given the rebates at the time the vehicle was announced. It's a reasonable assumption, but an assumption none-the-less.

Another assumption is that when Slate said "mid-20s" that meant only the base model would be that price, and the extended battery model would be more. Again, a reasonable assumption but...

I wish polls could ask two questions. Because I'd love a companion question that says "how much over your prediction will you accept before you walk away?". I seem to remember some threads or polls on that question.

I think you're right. Assumption that they won't hit that, so a couple grand more. After awhile seems like someone said it.

I’m probably going to sit this one out.

After seeing some of the pricing data in the Slate Maker last month (which Slate already said wasn’t final and was placeholder data), it kind of takes the fun out of guessing. They’ve since updated the file so that everything as a cost of $1.

I’ll just say this — if it lands anywhere near what Slate has been saying publicly (mid-twenties), I’ll be very happy.
