I'm just looking for some sort of bracket that would fit into the slot and allow a double din radio to mount. Paired with a panel that has a cutout for the radio to poke through.

I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't NOT offer it, but then officially paired up with an outfit like Crutchfield to offer an "officially Licensed" Slate package. Slate gets the lic money and Crutchfield does all the heavy lifting in an area they excel at.

I suspect we will see a lot of partnerships like that for the more common accessory requests.

That seems to actually be the plan. All these accessories including 3rd party will be added to the maker, so they can be previewed before you buy on the "Slate marketplace"
