I’m one of you. My window is Jan-mar 2027. I suspect the only number of importance Jul 24 is actual preorders. Nothing else will count. I encourage all Hawaii Slate hopefuls to convert. Hopefully we will have 8 preorders or the number required to matter. I will be a Hilo delivery.

There are 2739 members registered here. Slate had somewhere over 180k reservations.
So for every member here, counting those who have said nothing and just lurk, there are around 65+ people who reserved a Slate. If 8 members are in HI, there could be around 525 reservations there. That gets to the point they could definitely be planning a shipment to HI.

One note, on the topic of destination charge, when I've researched it, AK and HI are generally exceptions that may have higher destination charges than the continental US.

I have not looked at any list of pre-orders so I don’t know if I am listed. But I did put in my pre-order on June 24 and checked the box that I am willing to take an earlier delivery date. As of today I am in the 2027 Delivery Coming Soon group. My preference is to let Slate take care of the delivery logistics and I just happily go down to the docks and drive my Slate home. My plan B is to arrange to take delivery somewhere in the continental 48 as part of a summer 2027 vacation.

Folks, it appears Slate’s delivery logistics program for fleet and retail customers is coming together! This was just posted on LinkedIn.

My favorite takeaway … “define and execute the roadmap for customer’s’ physical touch points with their Slates.”

Here are the deets:

Someone mentioned C130 airdrop shipments. I think it was the Doc...

Edit - It was Scooter.

I'm sure one of the auto ship transporters head back to East Asia from the LA Port empty enough for 500 Slates to be aboard...

Certainly that's "operationally complex" and definitely needs "feedback" from "customers' touch points". :)

In all seriousness, the phrase "multiple live partner integrations" is intriguing.
