I wouldn't leave a pet in an occupied vehicle in a public parking lot. Even if the vehicle is cool, an average Joe, Karen, or cop may not have the brain power to process that and try to be a hero.

Yeah, you would have to put the sticky note on the window, I guess.

Run a lead (with fuse!) directly from the battery to a BUC converter (search Amazon) and install whatever you want - ie, USB or any DC ports. Or just buy a 12v USB converter and again, wire it up. If the OEM battery is too small (WTH are you trying to run??) add a second battery or swap out the OEM.

I run my 1500w PC on a standard UPS for about 30+ minutes with no issues. Your tiny fans and stuff could run for hours to days on 'a motorcycle' battery, and I dont believe Slate went that small with it.

Problems like this got solved a looooooong time ago. DIY; this is an easy one.
