You are not wrong….but we snowflakes that live in GA have AWD on everything! Because, you know, precipitation might happen and AWD obviously eliminates the need to know how to drive!AWD only became common recently, I haven't driven a vehicle with it, I doubt I'll miss it. Rarely snows here. Maybe for some areas where AWD is basically standard, like when we've visited family in Missoula, basically all the rentals were AWD subarus, and that was a big part of what you saw on the streets, but for a lot of the country it's not needed, and even somewhere like that, put on some snow tires and maybe put some sandbags in the bed.
