I have a theory that the Element is the official grunge hipster vehicle for Asheville. You see a gazillion of them here. It was a great idea. Sad when they discontinued it.
I have family in Brevard and I lost count how many Elements I was seeing out there last time I visited!

I think one thing that I will have to be conscious of is being fair that it’s a budget truck, but not accepting poor quality or workmanship. I might be cool with composite panels but not if the fit up has issues or there’s clear inconsistencies in the alignment of those things. I understand this is a demo truck and it’s being abused, it’s just with all the Tesla cyber truck stuff I’ve seen, I don’t really know how far some automakers are willing to push things these days.

My hope is that Slate puts in more effort than the Cybertruck. Those are all over around here and I haven’t seen a single one with proper fitting panels.

The 2 Slates from my video had better aligned panels. The wear and tear on the wraps and paint, though, that’s going to be a deciding factor for a lot of people IMO
