The panels are pretty flat, without a lot of compound curves. You might even be able to do a real wood veneer, and not just a fake wood sticker.

You're probably good and careful. Those are useful attributes that lead to quality.

I'm more of the start-at-7am-and-keep-going-until-my-dogs-don't-recognize-my-scent-anymore project guy. It's a problem that doesn't always lend itself to great outcomes.

Things have changed and will continue to change from when they made that video. The tax incentive was still a possibility at that point. Slate knows they have to have this priced right or it won't sell. Mid-twenties is what they're advertizing now. $27.5 is pretty close to high-twenties, so I hope they'll get the price down to $25k or lower for the base truck.

Other than "mid twenties" the only actual stated price from Slate Auto has been $27,499 or thereabouts.

Otherwise known as "just under $20,000 with the $7,500 tax credit".
