Would you prefer a hard copy of the owners manuals of a PDF download?
As Slate is embracing a lot of ideas from earlier times, roll up windows, radio delete, ordering the way you want etc... They should partner with Haynes to produce a paperback service manual .

PDF is fine with me, assuming typical vehicle owners manual content. Way easier to search through!

Would 100% buy a Haynes or Chilton manual for the truck if one was produced, but AFAIK that's basically what Slate U is supposed to be.

I hope they've simplified it enough that the paper manual, is more like a magazine, than phone book.

Conversely, I hope it's more complicated, more like a physics textbook than a catalog of ideograms imploring that you not drink the glycol and 400 other pages of things that you ought not do.

"Slate Truck Repair for Not-Dummies" if you will.

The Slate factory used to be a printing plant. Hopefully they can print a hardcopy of the manual still, haha.
I would want a PDF as a backup, but I definitely want a hardcopy in the truck.

I prefer soft copies since they are much easier to search. PDF is fine, preferably formatted to work well on mobile devices. I have a 3,200 page service manual for my wife's Mini. It would be unmanageable in paper form, but a simple Command-F and I can easily find what I need. Even better, uploading it to ChatGPT has helped troubleshoot things much quicker than doing it by hand.
