Yes! Im way south of Tucson and absolutely willing to drive up to Phoenix to see one of the betas in person.

I think quite a few people who live in the PHX Metro area have reserved and pre-ordered.

Especially with LFP battery and more range now, the Slate is an ideal runabout vehicle for The Valley Of The Sun.

Did anyone else notice that a trip from the valley to Tucson was a 1-stop trip before and you could go straight through now?

Took a look, and there are Tesla chargers in a Circle K parking lot near the freeway in Eloy (midway through) in case you want to stretch your legs while your Slate sips some electrons.

And Tesla's map shows both Eloy superchargers as not open to non-teslas. So off-brand activation is a coin flip.
