Since I have nothing better to do with my allocation of waiting now that Club DWCS is but a memory, I figured why not start actively waiting for some prices.

Personally, I'm most interested in the Truck Tower Racks (the better to carry lumber, canoes, and kayaks -- and possibly a spare) and the Hands Free Bluetooth Controller (because sooner or later any random playlist could potentially go full Baby Shark). I'd also love to know the price of a full-size spare, but alas, not being in the Maker is a different thread.

It doesn't appear the list has changed since the thread was started, but I went through everything again, formatted it, and linked each entry to its page in the Maker. I'll probably turn this into my new weekly update, as it's better than just spinning my wheels with general waiting. (Tires are expensive, albeit only psychologically for the metaphorical kind.)

Bluetooth media remotes (like this arbitrary one on Amazon) don't pair with the speakers at all. They pair with your phone (or tablet, or whatever) and give you a few control buttons (often play/pause, skip forward/back, and volume). Whether the audio is coming from the device itself or going to a Bluetooth speaker is irrelevant.

The steering-wheel mounted controls are just a welcome form factor for controlling your playback device. Ideally, I'd love for the steering-wheel mounted controls to be powered by a connection in the steering wheel so that they can stay awake (preventing the no/slow first press issue that cheap controllers can have) and not need coin cell battery swaps, but I'll take it just for the form factor.

I’m leaving the controller in my build. YMMV.
The asymmetry of the wheel without it bothers me.
I don’t have to take my eyes off the road for the center speaker buttons
An iPad would block the center speaker buttons .
I don’t intend to use one but want the option.

I'd love to know how much the Price Coming Soon list adds up to, as that would mean there wouldn't be anything on it. Hmm... I guess that means that when we know the prices of everything on the PCS List, by definition the total will be zero. 😎

As for the two things on this list that I'd like, I'm going to hope the Truck Tower Racks will be... let's say $450. (Roof racks are always more than anyone feels they ought to be, and it's annoyed me on all three cars I've had in my driving life.) I'll hope for... $45... for the Hands Free Bluetooth Controller. (Cheap off-brand ones seem to be around $30 these days, and over $50 for a remote would make me have to sigh as I order it -- but I would order it.)

You mention that you may carry canoes. I'd prefer the tower racks but unless I know how tall they are I really wonder if the bow of the canoe might hit the cab roof.
