Do tracks work in the front without 4WD? wouldn't skis be appropriate on the front? Or does this require a DIY 4WD upgrade?

First the coal roller would need to recognize the vehicle. Normally they go after known EVs, Some little pickup truck prototype would be an unlikely target.

Right. I've seen it multiple times. The reason that I am convinced that it has already occurred is that the Slate truck has been out on public streets in their viral marketing. Surely some ignorant person rolled coal on the truck or the crowd around the truck.

It could be my natural pessimism, but I doubt it.
