I'm curious if something like this could get modded in. I wouldn't, but it'd be rad to see someone do it, especially on an AWD truck. An 800 HP Slate Truck would be wild
If I can find a unit at a decent price, I'll give it a try. RWD, that is, maybe see if the original unit could be moved up front. So 3 motor AWD. But I'd definitely start with dual rear motor.
I already have the necessary equipment (CNC, Welder, etc.).
The only thing I'm concerned about is whether the battery can handle the extra draw.

Even a 250 HP Slate would be better than a 200 HP Slate.

If it's anything like golf carts, someone will figure out how to modify the motor's windings to give it a bunch more torque and horsepower. Or maybe replace the stock motor with a different one.

There'll be hopped-up Slate Trucks. It's only a matter of time...
