Question of FRUNK

My mate tells me they still call it a boot. So an EV can have two boots giving the saying “fill your boots” a whole new meaning.

According to Gemini AI, they call it a "Front Boot", or jokingly a "Froot." The previous post emphasizes this. "Frunk" is also used because USA terms overwhelmed them, but there is resistance. Or they call it "under the bonnet space" to completely own it in British terms.

If I were British, I would start advertising "UTB" as the space. But I don't think that's going to stick. It appears that FRUNK will be the winner. And it isn't terrible for either side of the Atlantic since it is such a bogus word.

Frunk has been the word us going back to the early VW beetle and Porsche 356s as far as I know.

But I'm ok with Froot too. Being bilingual aint such a bad thing

I think i'm going to refer to it as the Chest... because they go in the front, and is also a place to store things. The headlights will be referred to as nipples since they are on the front of the chest, and are round!
