Am i going to be able to fit a guitar in the frunk? either my acoustic in a hard case or my electric in a gig bag? anyone?

Probably not. Here's my thinking: if they could have gotten golf clubs in there instead of carry on bags, they would have shown that. An acoustic guitar case is somewhat similar to a golf bag. So I think not.

I'm still worried about getting my 5 gallon bucket of tools in there. It should fit, but I don't know what the size of those carry ons they keep showing are.

Almost certainly TSA compliant bags, so 22 x 14 x 9. And the frunk holds two bags easily laying on their side, so that puts it around 22 wide x14 tall x18 front-to-back +.
and that only adds up to 3.2 cubic feet. so those 2 suitcases are using less than half the volume.

Utilizing my calibrated eyeball, I doubt a guitar hardcase would fit. It might, but I have doubts. I'm pretty sure it'll fit my needs (utility locator receiver/transmitter and a paint stick) but I'd love for someone to post some actual dimensions.

Hopefully Slate publishes dimensions soon. I'd like to be able to get a collapsible wheelchair in the frunk.

It would be nice if you could put a full sized spare tire in the frunk. So far the previous 2 seater cars I've owned with a frunk had this capability. And they were tiny.

Thinking about this again…did I miss the Frunk dimensions? I’m rethinking the Modern Spare laying in there vs rear full size spare kit.
