Ahh, so you're talking about having like the store front or university splash page up. Yeah I could see how that would inspire some confidence but also if they did post it and then let it sit dead for 6-8 months before they had their ducks in a row and had more to post it would seem like they don't care at the very least, from an outsiders perspective no?

That's true, and it would look bad for people enthusiastic about the Slate like people on this forum too. If they don't have material to trickle something until the alpha or beta version, then I think that's even worse.
