Nothing Fun
Has Slate said anything about how they will connect speakers and the BYOD infotainment? On the customizer, I noticed you could have factory speakers installed, but they appear to be Bluetooth. Is there any solution to seamlessly connect our device and speakers, without having to connect to Bluetooth every time?

Would love a "get in my car and music starts playing" system, instead of a "get in my car, turn on iPad, connect to bluetooth, music plays" approach.

Would be easy enough to use this and run a 3.5mm audio cable to the speakers. Would still need to turn on both the iPad and speaker though

My plan is to buy a Bluetooth enabled automotive speaker amp wired to speakers. The phone would automatically connect to the Bluetooth amp when it powers up.

I've looked at current products, which there are plenty to choose from.
