How much do we know about what type of steering Slate is planning to use? Will the steering wheel be adjustable (at least tilt)? Will it be rack and pinion or recirculating ball? Purely electric or electric/hydraulic hybrid? Personally, I prefer more weighted steering...I'm sure Slate will go with the value solution and I hope this delivers something other than the overly light (and "dead") steering most new cars currently have.

Curious about this also.... remember my first car and the fore arm muscles I developed when trying to turn the wheel while stopped.

If it’s electric I hope they enable user adjustment of the boost level. Overboosted power steering drives me crazy, especially when it’s not difficult to provide user adjustability.
