I'm liking what I'm seeing on the headroom front. I would have to sit in one to see overall ergonomics with seating position, steering wheel, etc. to know if I would be comfortable.

I'm far South Texas near Elmo SpacedOut land, so unless Slate has a tour stop in San Antonio, 4 hours away, I may be buying one sight unseen. It was good to see that journalist in it for fitment though.

I have to expect that once they have the line put together, and are (relatively slowly) putting together final build worthy units at even a couple a day, they will start quickly ramping up the tours, getting to a lot more cities and getting us those test drives.

It wouldn't be the first time I bought without a test drive, I did that with my Gladiator mid 2019, as there were only car show display units, or dealer units that were sold as soon as they came off the transport truck.
