If I knew that a road usage fee was only being used for road and bridge maintenance, I'd be happy to pay it...especially if it was tax deductible and I knew that everyone else who drives legally in the state of Washington also pays it. One revenue source that will be lost is people from out of state using Washington roads and buying Washington gas. Policing this could have some logistical challenges, but I don't think privacy concerns should be one of them.
