Looks like the t-track accessory rail is along the bottom lip of the storage. I’m hoping there’s RAM style MagSafe charging accessories or mounts I can install that curve away and up from the storage bin door so they are still accessible.

Seems there are a couple of options. In that shot, the phone mount is just right of the large door. That mount shown is a quite flat mount, putting the phone almost right against the dash.
For something like a tablet, it could have an arm holding it out from the door, closer to the driver so it can open.
It could have a joint so the tablet can be moved out of the way.
These doors are customizable, at a minimum in material and colors, it may be possible to swap them around, or install a different combination of doors so that the larger door is some inches further to the right.

Are the storage covers/doors plastic or some kind of composite? If they are not covered by any fabric, I can use double sided tape or magnets for mounting. The plan is to have one old phone dedicated for music and the primary phone for navi and etc.

The texture looks matte in the picture above while the dash looks glossy. 🧐

From the media it appears that the storage covers have some kind of open mesh plastic frame with magnetic closures, and fabric covers so that they are acoustically transparent for in-dash speakers. I’m sure that future options will include solid covers with simulated wood, carbon fiber, metallic, and even piano black finishes.

Good info about the mesh. Thanks for that :)

I'll make my own solid panels. Blue ones.

My understanding is that the fabric covers are not standard. In fact, when I went into the configurator and added speakers, it automatically also added the "Dash Storage Wrap (Black Perforated)"
It seems to be the only area where you simply can't add feature A without also adding feature B.

Also when you add the spare tire, the rear bumper gets upgraded, there may be a few others.

I have a spreadsheet of all the accessories and if they require other or are incompatible. I can post her or should I start another tread?
I wouldn't take the apparent compatibility we see in the maker so far as concrete. it's basically a preview version, and half the accessories appear to be just concepts. I am expecting to see more solid info in June.
