Dimensionally is there even room to put a third seat in? The Slate is pretty narrow...much narrower than the Scout by 9.3". If yes, I could see Slate offering a bench seat replacement for the two individual seats. It might look a lot like the rear seat(s) for the SUV Kit.
I’m planning a factory pickup too. Most likely flying into Chicago, renting a one-way to Warsaw then a nice easy drive back home mostly on i90. I might bring an inflatable mattress to camp it.
If you make a comparison table listing Slate features in one column and then other vehicles in adjacent columns, it becomes obvious pretty quickly that no other vehicle checks the same boxes as Slate.
