From the Slate FAQ:
Reservation holders will get an exclusive first chance to sit in a Slate. Beginning in 2026, we’ll have vehicles available for demonstration drives.
Prediction: The Slate partnership will be with Mavis Tire Centers. The timing of Slate Auto and Mavis / Midas deal is not a coincidence. And everyone has a neighborhood Mavis or Midas location nearby.
Mavis Tire Express Services Corp.’s pending acquisition of Midas from TBC Corp. will give...
As far as we know, this is Slate’s current position. According to Edmunds.com:
Because all of the trucks will be built as “blank slates” when they leave the production facility, installing the options looks a little different than usual.
You the customer can have your accessories delivered...
More than 550,000 Ford vehicles were recalled due to airbag and structural issues that could increase the risk of crashes and injuries.
According to two notices reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on May 27, the recalls cover 556,043 cars with model years...
Agree, but we all know how fast another year rolls around. I think many of us will be hugely disappointed if production is delayed. Anyone who has worked in manufacturing in any capacity understands how production schedules can quickly get off track: supply chain issues, shortages, facility...
Ram CEO:
“Slate Vehicles Won't Be So Cheap Once Buyers Get Done Optioning Them Up“

Since this is one of the most active and lively discussion groups out there, what if event attendees wear a name tag with our forum display name? I think it would be interesting to meet fellow members in person. This is optional, of course. Just a thought. And...
Well … we are almost halfway through June and still no info on these events. Not leaving us much time to plan a visit. I hope we’re not further disappointed with delays or cancellations.
