What would you expect your OTD price for a Blank Slate* Truck to be?

What amounts do you think would be combined to arrive at and OTD price, including

• Sales Tax
• Destination Fee (Delivery & Prep)
• Documentation Fee
• Title and Registration Fee
• any other fee (delivery to your driveway or ???)
• State / Local EV-Specific Fee
• State / Local EV Tax Credit

* A Blank Slate Truck means no wrap, accessories, or charges to install those.

When you search for registration fees some results might not be accurate, so don't accept the first result you find. FWIW, my best result came from an AI Brave Search reply to [ Arizona new vehicle license and registration cost for 25000 ].

The elephant in the room is the Destination Fee. The amount Slate will charge is anyone's guess. I hope it's reasonable.

Edit: The reason this poll is about a Blank Slate is because the purpose of the poll is to discover what people think the other charges will be. I realize few of us will actually buy a completely Blank Slate.

The ranges in the poll are pretty low. By the time I add the features I want (long range battery, fastback kit, wrap, spare tire, hitch for a bike rack, head unit and speakers, and a few odds and ends) I expect it to be in the neighborhood of $35K or so, plus registration, destination (unless picked up at factory?), title ....

Base plate for flat towing, installation, and wiring for brakes and lights will likely be another $1500-$2K unless I decide to do most of that work myself. That will depend on what's involved. I did it myself for my current flat tow but am not sure I want to do it again.

So, all up once it's ready to be dragged down the road: $40K-45K. I've budgeted a max of $45K for it.

In my State it will cost you around $24,003-$27,003 for a $25K Blank Slate Truck depending on income level for state incentives and assuming a $1500 destination fee.

Edit: If for whatever reason State Incentives go away by the time the Slate Truck is on Market the Truck will cost around 28.5K after fees and again assuming a $1500 destination fee.

I thought you were asking for expected OTD for what we intend to buy (which starts out as a blank slate, plus extras that one can choose to self-install).

Assuming it's 25K, the tax, destination fee, registration, and document fees will probably be around $4K all up. That's a total guess of about $2K on the destination fee though.

My state has no incentives. I changed my vote to 29K.

The poll logic is a bit flawed since you cannot have any values below the starting price of the truck itself, even with the few remaining state incentives. Sales tax and destination are the heavy hitters, and a safe bet is $4K over the selling price. Just my 2 cents. lol.

It’s why I think once Slate gets up to full production and can actually fulfill higher demand a 24K base price makes more sense. If final price for a Blank Slate is going to be 3-4K more expensive than a final price of 27-28K before incentives is a much more attractive price point than 29K.

First option doesn’t work though since it seems like Maine is the cheapest place to buy a $25K Blank Slate especially if you are a low income resident then the Slate will cost $18,875. So unless they have a $24.99 destination fee, under 19k isn’t possible for a 25K Blank Slate. At least from what I researched about incentives and fees in Oregon. (which side note fees and sales tax for a new vehicle are much better than my own)
