i think we should have the option on the bench vs bucket I like both but a bench with a fold down arm rest is best
Is there enough cab width for that?i think we should have the option on the bench vs bucket I like both but a bench with a fold down arm rest is best
Judging by the center piece I’d say we have maybe a good 8-10 inches so it would be a narrow arm rest but that’s just by looks could be a foot wide for all I know and that would be plenty I thinksIs there enough cab width for that?
Should be the same or better than the beck seat.Is there enough cab width for that?
i’ve asked Slate about using that back seat upfront. No response yet.Should be the same or better than the beck seat.

The back seat has wheel wells and a rollbar to deal with.Should be the same or better than the beck seat.
Oh I was saying their should be more room in the front vs the rear, so if the rear can be 3 wide the front can be. Maybe I misunderstood your previous message. The back seat has wheel wells and a rollbar to deal with.
Hmmmm interesting interesting so not completely ruled out for after launch options but a year is a long time they may get to it before thenThe answer

Hi David,
Thanks so much for your thoughtful suggestion and for your interest in how Slate’s modular design might support a front bench seat configuration.
At this time, we don’t have plans to offer a front bench seat or a fold-down center console option. While we’re always exploring ways to expand functionality and flexibility, our current interior layout is focused on optimizing safety, comfort, and usability with individual front seats.
We truly appreciate your input it’s ideas like yours that help shape the future of Slate.
Cheers,
Alysa
