How do you think the average reader would this?:
The Slate Truck is a two-door, single-cab electric pickup with a single rear motor and an initial goal of costing as little as the mid-$20,000s (with the $7,500 federal EV tax credit that has since been discontinued).
and later
The truck goes into production later this year. Johnson said no changes had to be made over the now-higher price point with the loss of EV tax credits.

Johnson leads 30 people. Somehow that's more than I would have anticipated, but it makes sense.

At Slate, Johnson leads a team of about 30 with industrial and UX designers, color and material specialists, clay modelers, digital surfacing team members, and studio engineers.

They have a Digital Surfacing Team. Had to look that one up!

In Hawaii?
Ironic
We had a 2001 Toyota Sequoia in Atlanta. Those heated seats were comfy in the winter. When we moved to Hawaii we shipped the Sequoia and would laugh at the idea of the heated seats. Then one, particularly physically challenging day (we physically built this house) on a trip to town, Sophie flipped on the seat heat as her back was killing her. Relief. She has since shared that with a number of like aged friends. The response back is always, “thank you, Sophie”.
So, yup, in Hawaii

That's good to hear, I was looking at just adding heated pads or heated cover if they didn't offer it. And as others have said the 12v is plenty for a seat heater, that's the great thing about them, saves on range on mildly cold days vs running the hvac element heater with a fairly low draw.

Toyota even has a radiant leg heater on their EVs(it's why not glovebox), along with seat heater and steering wheel heater, to reduce the need for the hvac heater as much as possible.

I'm curious if they'll have a convenient power tap, but may be why they added the aux button option and it sits right above the hvac controls, may need to add that option now, and figure out what else to add to use the buttons for :D
