LOL dude. A dyslectic typo, not the improper use of the word, such as break vs. brake, or lose vs. loose. ;)

No soup for you!

It's all in fun. I have a weird, dry sense of humor. Other than spelling, I am quite the idiot.

I noticed this recent recall for low speed noise: General Motors has issued Safety Recall number N252530690 for certain units of the 2025-2026 Chevy Equinox EV, which potentially fail to conform to minimum sound requirements for hybrids and EVs in the U.S. and Canada.

Has Slate announced how the Slate Truck will meet these minimum sound requirements?

So it’s motor sounds right ? Couldn’t you let’s say get into the stuff and tone that out after you get the slate not saying it would be easy but if there’s a will there’s a way or it it sometimes mechanical that causes the noise I know teslas are louder reversing then driving I was actually shocked one day I was standing out side and just heard a pound buzzing sounds and looked over to see a Tesla then they put it in drive and no sounds at all

Yes, in keeping with the old-school manual rollup windows tech, the driver will roll down the window and shout, "GET THE EFF OUT OF MY WAY, I'M MOVING HERE!"

There are some really funny videos out there from the grammar crowd. One of my favorites was a Brit lady's YouTube channel, where she just pilloried us peons over our lousy grammar. It always hit home because I was an English Lit major whose grammar totally sucked and still sucks. Happily, my life took a non-English-literature direction. First 20 years in military aviation, then 30 years as an R&D software analyst. Happily, in both careers the ability to speak or write in proper English was optional.

It wasn't till my freshman year of college that my advisor patiently explained the difference between "its" and "it's". But she never cured me of using "got".

In my junior year I finally got around to studying grammar. That was 1980. At that time there were 26 academic-approved systems of grammar for the English language. And that's when I laughed and decided I should fly aircraft for a living.

Still drives my wife nuts that I change the rules of capitalization on the fly - never the same day to day. I explain to her that language is alive and needs to change over time to thrive and prosper.
