Possible midgate pass-through?

I was looking at a screenshot I had from a discussion about where the rear seat mounts, and I just noticed this panel that looks like it could be a pass through of some sort?
It would be useful for long lumber or letting HVAC into a camper/tent.

That panel has to be removable for any SUV kit conversion.

So either an official Slate Auto or third party panel with a pass through sliding door door should be available in the future accessory.

Maybe or maybe not, Slate hasn’t given definite answer. Believe it does remain in place for Cargo topper.

Something gave me the impression that the Cargo Kit includes a floor-to-ceiling bulkhead piece that goes there.
