Scale Models of Slate Pickup, SUV, Fastback (for DIY 3D Print - STL Files)

For anyone interested, you can alleviate the layer steps on the hood pretty well by printing the Slate in a "grill up" configuration, at least for the SUV models. This was done with a cheap Creality printer with probably only 10 minutes of support removal and cleanup. The grill, the backend, and the fender wells are really the only parts that I wish turned out better.

After bird nesting a few attempts, breaking a nozzle, and running a couple color filament dry. Finally got this to print on niece's 3d printer.

In my defense, I was learning a new machine, while trying to teach my Father how to do prints, so he could work with granddaughter, on how to get her to understand the 3d printing process. Trying teach and train an old mind to teach and train a young autistic mind from two states away.
